What you’ll do and what success looks like: Lead and energize a game‑changing PR and communications strategy for WeLab Group (HK + SEA markets) to shape how the world sees finance, technology and emerging trends (AI, Web3). Craft compelling thought leadership – keynote speeches, presentations, media interviews and press materials that showcase WeLab’s mission to redefine finance and technology. Partner with C‑suite leaders, to hone their voice, delivering messages that spark inspiration internally and resonate globally. Drive media interviews and events that put WeLab’s vision and people in the spotlight. Forge and enhance our relationships with influential journalists, editors and influencers in top‑tier media in finance, business, and tech in HK and SEA. Tackle media enquiries and coordinate press materials, interviews, and forums with a WeLab touch. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to create a vibrant PR calendar, from speaking engagements to social events, amplifying our brand everywhere. Harness data and trends, leveraging analytics and social listening to stay ahead and measure impact, amplify coverage sentiment and engagement. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree or above. 12+ years of experience in PR or communications, ideally in fast‑moving, tech‑driven environments. A multitasking problem‑solver who thrives on change and loves a challenge. Entrepreneurial, creative, and ready to run with new ideas. Confident advising senior leaders and shaping communications at the highest level. Experience in banking or tech is a big plus. Outstanding written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
