Applications from all areas of computer science and related fields are welcome. Applicants should hold (i) a PhD degree; and (ii) an outstanding scholarly record demonstrating (potential for) teaching and research excellence. Applicants in the following areas are particularly welcome: Computer Science Algorithms Artificial intelligence and machine learning Bioinformatics Computer system security or cybersecurity Data analytics or data science Healthcare Informatics Image processing, computer graphics, AR/VR Programming languages, software engineering, and system programming Theoretical CS Computer Engineering Cyber-physical systems and Internet of things Electronic Design Automation Energy efficient Computing Hardware and embedded security Quantum Computing Smart hardware for human machine interaction Appointment(s) will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing August 2026, which, subject to performance and mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointments or substantiation later. Substantive appointment at Professor rank may be considered for outstanding candidates with proven records. The rank and appointment start date will be negotiated with the successful applicants.
