Position Overview The Performing Arts Lead Teacher will be an integral part of the school’s teaching teams. They will work closely with Senior Leaders to set strategic direction and help realise ESF’s vision of “creating the conditions so that every child thrives.” In addition to specialist teaching obligations, the Performing Arts Teacher will have a key responsibility for leading best practice in inquiry-based Performing Arts pedagogy across the school. Their main role is to model, encourage and advocate quality learning and teaching to ensure the best possible outcomes for the students. General Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Postgraduate qualification Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE) An understanding of the PYP and the key underpinnings of the curriculum frameworks is advantageous Newly qualified teachers or teaching experience within a recognised educational institute Click here to see the standard competencies and capabilities required to be a primary school teacher at an ESF school.
