Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager, Financial Accounting OOCL Logistics group HQ companies based on applicable rules and accounting standards. Responsibilities Effectively maintain financial books of OOCL Logistics group HQ companies based on applicable rules and accounting standards, perform preliminary profits tax computation. Drive local audit progress and assist in the review of draft financial statements of OOCL Logistics companies globally. Facilitate the financial and accounting functions of all OOCL Logistics offices worldwide, provide guidance in terms of financial accounting controls. Ensure proper month‑end closing of the SAP Ledger and facilitate group financial reporting on a global basis. Streamline work processes, assist in developing and refining accounting policies and guidelines. Monitor monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing for all OOCL Logistics offices globally. Requirements Bachelor degree holder in Accounting or related discipline. Qualified or in due course to be a qualified accountant. Minimum 3 years’ work experience in the Accounting field. Professional work experience in Big Four audit firms is preferred. Experience in Logistics and Shipping industry is an asset. Mature, self‑motivated, deadline‑driven and can work under pressure. Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills. Good interpersonal, leadership and time‑management skills. Proficient spoken and written Chinese and English; good command of Putonghua is an added advantage. Applicants with less experience will be considered as Senior Accountants.
