Deputy Chief Financial Officer This Hong Kong listed company with global exposure is looking for a Deputy Chief Financial Officer with a plan to succeed the Chief Financial Officer within 3-5 years. Core Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis: Developing budgets, forecasts, long-term financial plans, and analyzing performance to guide management decisions. Accounting & Reporting: Overseeing daily accounting, managing general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements, and preparing reports for stakeholders. Internal Controls & Compliance: Implementing policies, ensuring data integrity, managing audit processes (internal/external), and ensuring adherence to regulations (GAAP, IFRS, etc.). Strategic Support: Advising the CFO and senior management on financial strategy, investments, M&A, and fiscal implications of new projects. Operations Management: Managing the finance department's day-to-day activities, supervising staff, and improving financial processes and systems. Risk Management: Monitoring financial risks and ensuring robust internal controls to protect assets and data. Stakeholder Relations: Liaising with banks, auditors, government bodies, and other internal/external parties on financial matters. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a globally renowned university. 18-20 years of proven experience. Strong preference for Big 4 experience. Preferred international background.
