Deputy Chief Product Officer (Crypto Exchange) About the Role We are looking for a visionary Deputy Chief Product Officer (Deputy CPO) to join a leading global crypto exchange. This role partners closely with the CPO to drive the overall product vision, roadmap, and execution across multiple product lines. You’ll take full ownership of the product lifecycle, lead a high-performing product organization, and shape the future of next-generation digital trading experiences. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Strategy & Lifecycle Ownership Translate the company’s strategic goals into actionable product roadmaps and growth plans. Define product priorities, core value propositions, and resource allocation across business units. Take full ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle — from strategy and design to launch, growth, and optimization. Enhance key platform modules with a focus on user acquisition, conversion, retention, and experience optimization. 2. Product Team Leadership & Organizational Development Lead and scale the product management team; define roles, growth pathways, and success metrics. Foster a culture of high performance, product excellence, and data-driven decision-making. Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, marketing, and compliance teams to ensure product initiatives are successfully implemented. Resolve complex cross-functional challenges and streamline multi-team collaboration. 3. Growth, Data, and User Experience Optimization Leverage analytics and experimentation (A / B testing, funnel analysis) to uncover user insights and conversion opportunities. Develop differentiated product strategies that drive GMV, revenue, and user stickiness. Oversee user experience improvement projects and continuously refine core trading features in line with market trends and competitor dynamics. 4. Industry Insight & Innovation Stay at the forefront of fintech and Web3 innovation, with deep awareness of evolving trading ecosystems. Explore and validate emerging opportunities such as decentralized trading, on-chain analytics, and new user scenarios. Drive product differentiation through innovative concepts that combine functionality, compliance, and user trust. QualificationsBasic Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related fields. 8+ years of product management experience in Internet or FinTech sectors, including 3+ years in a senior product leadership role (Head of Product / VP Product). Proven track record building or scaling complex trading or transaction-based platforms (e.g., crypto exchange, payments, e-commerce, securities trading). Core Competencies Strategic Leadership : Able to translate business strategy into long-term product vision and operational roadmaps, with strong market-to-execution thinking. Organizational Execution : Experienced in managing large-scale teams (≥30 people) and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects. User-Driven Mindset : Highly data-oriented; skilled in testing, experimentation, and product iteration based on quantitative and qualitative research. Preferred Experience Deep understanding of traditional financial systems (securities, payments, or trading platforms). Hands‑on experience in Web3, blockchain, or decentralized finance (DeFi) products is a strong plus.
