Assistant Finance Manager

Responsibilities Prepare and review corporate income tax returns, provisional tax filings, and other statutory tax submissions for the designated regions; Manage indirect tax compliance, including VAT, GST, and sales tax for relevant entities; Coordinate with local external advisors and tax authorities in Hong Kong, Australia, Philippines, Thailand, and Laos to ensure full compliance; Assist in tax provisioning and reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings; Support tax audits and inquiries from government authorities; Research and monitor changes in tax laws and regulations across the regions, assessing their impact on the business; Assist in transfer pricing documentation and implementation; Support the senior finance team in tax planning and advisory projects to optimize the group’s tax position; Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide tax guidance on business operations and new initiatives. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent; A minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in taxation, preferably within a multinational corporation or a reputable accounting firm; Practical experience with tax compliance and advisory services is essential. Exposure to tax matters in Hong Kong, Australia, Philippines, Thailand, or Laos will be a significant advantage; Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel skills; Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin); Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills; Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
