Product Lead, Global Treasury Payment Network Airwallex is the only unified payments and financial platform for global businesses. Powered by our unique combination of proprietary infrastructure and software, we empower over 150,000 businesses worldwide – including Brex, Rippling, Navan, Qantas, SHEIN and many more – with fully integrated solutions to manage everything from business accounts, payments, spend management and treasury, to embedded finance at a global scale. This role is based in Shanghai or Singapore. This role will be part of the Global Treasury Payment Network (GTPN) product team, building out our proprietary infrastructure that enables SME, Enterprise and Platform customers to move funds globally via Airwallex’s webapp and APIs. You will be responsible for leading high‑impact projects from ideation to launch. Responsibilities Take ownership of Airwallex’s money movement infrastructure roadmap, from strategy, financial partner assessment, solutioning to delivery. Communicate product strategy and prioritisation with conviction by deeply understanding our user requirements, target markets, and competitive landscape. Manage a high performing team of Product Managers. Collaborate closely with financial partnership, engineering, operations and commercial teams to build a scalable and reliable infrastructure that can handle increased usage and complexity while delivering impactful outcomes. Act as the subject matter expert to provide insights and guidance to other teams. Iterate quickly on new product launches, feature enhancements, and user feedback. Qualifications Experience in Product Management, go‑to‑market propositions, platform product design, planning and development. 2+ years of formal people management experience. Experience considering both user requirements and commercial strategy in order to drive meaningful product growth. Experience taking products from ideation to delivery, ideally at global scale. Ability to manage difficult tradeoffs such as long‑term product vision and short‑term growth requirements. Ability to thrive in data‑driven, cross‑functional teams that can move ideas to reality in very short periods of time. Flexibility to work across multiple time zones. Exceptional English and Chinese communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non‑technical audiences with conviction. Experience in any of the following is a plus: hyper‑growth startup environments, financial infrastructure and/or technology. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
