Contract Senior Project Manager

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects, including digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and system enhancements for life insurance operations Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements Manage cross-functional project teams, including business analysts, IT, operations, compliance, and external vendors Oversee project governance, risk management, and issue resolution, proactively identifying and mitigating project risks Engage and communicate with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, risks, and financials Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering to Chubb’s quality standards and regulatory guidelines Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices across project management processes Prepare and present project documentation, including status reports, executive summaries, and post-implementation reviews Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within project teams, mentoring junior staff and promoting professional development Support change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, training, and user adoption strategies Job requirements Minimum 8 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in the life insurance industry or financial services Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale, complex projects, including digital transformation and regulatory initiatives Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with experience working in matrixed and multicultural environments Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence) Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing and engaging senior executives and diverse teams Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and third-party oversight.
