Engagement Lead (HPS Engagement Lead) HSBC Central & Western District, Hong Kong SAR. The Group AI Management and Strategy (AIMS) team is responsible for developing and implementing Group-wide strategic programs across HSBC, aiming to accelerate the commercialisation and delivery of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML). Key areas of focus include responsible development practices, common platforms and capabilities, AI technology enablement, governance, and the Group-wide AI Strategy. HSBC is enhancing the utilisation of Generative AI to boost colleagues' productivity and increase their effectiveness, ensuring a controlled and responsible approach. This role leads the adoption and engagement of our in-house LLM-based productivity tool, designing and executing marketing, communications, and training strategies to ensure employees are aware, equipped, and motivated to use the new tool, driving measurable improvements in productivity and satisfaction. Responsibilities Marketing & PRDevelop and execute a multi‑channel internal marketing campaign to generate awareness and adoption of our in-house LLM‑based productivity tool. Create and manage targeted communications (emails, newsletters, Workplace posts, Teams channel, group mailbox, etc.) that create enthusiasm for the product and benefits on user productivity. Share success stories and testimonials to build social proof and encourage adoption. Collaborate with leadership to ensure visible executive sponsorship of the initiative. Training & EnablementDesign and facilitate diverse training formats, including live demonstrations, on‑demand tutorials, and role‑specific guides, to support users at all levels. Organise interactive workshops, Q&A sessions, and feature deep‑dives to address advanced use cases and promote ongoing learning. Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and self‑service resources for continuous employee support. Engagement & FeedbackImplement feedback mechanisms (surveys, focus groups, direct channels) to gather employee insights and identify improvement areas. Monitor adoption and engagement metrics, using data to refine strategies and maximise product uptake. Serve as a liaison between users, product teams, and engineering teams to ensure user feedback informs future product enhancements. Cross‑Functional CollaborationCollaborate closely with Business Champions and product teams to ensure a seamless rollout and ongoing alignment with business objectives. Coordinate with data and analytics teams to assess business impact and report progress to business stakeholders. Qualifications Experience and KnowledgePrevious experience in roles related to product adoption, internal communications, marketing, training and employee engagement. Experience in developing advanced training programmes and understanding of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI/GAI). Demonstrate leadership capabilities, with experience in leading teams and managing cross‑functional projects. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate AI concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences. Skills and QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to users and engage senior stakeholders. Strong ability to analyse data and translate insights into strategic actions. Strong organisational skills to manage AI events and engagements, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive attitude, self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and passionate about staying up to date on the latest technology advancements and their benefits to financial services.
