Overview Citi Kowloon City District, Hong Kong SAR. We are hiring for the role of Officer, Credit Portfolio Intermediate Analyst (Internal Job Title: Credit Portfolio Intermediate Analyst - C11) based in Hong Kong. The role is part of Citi Wealth and Citi’s global network, supporting Citi's portfolio management and credit risk activities across clients and counterparties worldwide. As a successful candidate, you will contribute to credit reviews, credit approval, and portfolio monitoring to identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team, with the objective of managing Citi’s portfolio exposure. Responsibilities Portfolio Monitoring & Oversight: Support the Unsecured Lending Risk Manager in the continuous monitoring and oversight of unsecured lending portfolios (Credit Cards and Personal Loans), collaborating with Business and Operations teams from end-to-end. Exercise oversight and actively manage the risk appetite framework for the unsecured lending portfolio, ensuring alignment with established expectations and thresholds. Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and deliver regular MIS reports for unsecured lending portfolios; drive automation and digitalization of routine MIS processes; prepare and present ad hoc MIS reports focusing on lending business trends and insights for senior management; conduct in-depth analysis to optimize risk-reward for unsecured lending products. Strategy & Credit Lifecycle Management: Monitor and validate unsecured lending credit strategies for effectiveness and adherence to risk policies; manage credit risk functions across the credit lifecycle (acquisition, portfolio management, collections), including line assignment, renewals, approvals, early warning alerts, and risk mitigation. Project Management & Compliance: Participate in regulator, business, risk, system, and regional projects; support launches of new initiatives with compliance to regulatory requirements and internal policies; develop and optimize credit decision tools (scorecards, segmentation models, bureau attributes, decision engines, Basel models); ensure processes comply with policies and regulatory requirements through control programs and audits; escalate and report control issues with transparency. Qualifications & Skills Development: Build and maintain risk capabilities in line with Citi’s standards, focusing on data-driven decision making and risk controls. Qualifications Minimum 6-7 years of credit risk and analytics management experience in Cards and Unsecured Lending Products. Strong knowledge and experience in regulatory reporting, especially Basel. Proficient in handling large data sets and interpreting results with critical analysis. Self-initiative, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and strong compliance awareness. Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Business, Statistics or related quantitative disciplines.
