Senior Software Engineer

Our client is a ship management company. They are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their fast-growing team. Job Duties Design, build, and maintain backend systems using C# and .NET Participate in system architecture design and provide technical input for long-term scalability and maintainability Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions Take ownership of software components and guide them through the entire SDLC Perform code reviews and promote best practices in software development Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to architectural standards Work closely with DevOps to ensure successful releases and deployments Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Continuously improve development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical discipline A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience actively coding and delivering backend systems using .NET (C#) Strong proficiency in T‑SQL and Microsoft SQL Server, with the ability to design and maintain complex stored procedures while ensuring performance and scalability. Skilled at debugging and refactoring existing legacy or poorly structured SQL code Demonstrated ability to write production‑grade, clean, scalable, and well‑documented code Ability to produce and interpret technical documentation (UML diagrams, ERDs, use cases) in direct support of coding and solution implementation Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience using GitHub, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent development and collaboration tools Passion for technology and delivering value through innovative software solutions Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and quality To apply for this position, please simply click on the “APPLY” button.
