Responsibilities Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential design solutions, materials, and manufacturing processes. Design and create 3D models, drawings, and prototypes using Pro-E or Solidworks and other tools. Assist in mechanical and electronics installation. Design prototypes according to features and specifications. Provide technical support for experimental set‑ups & trials. Conceptualize and develop new products or processes in collaboration with the R&D team and other stakeholders. Prepare mechanical drawings and industrial design drawings. Document all testing, design changes, and other relevant information in project reports and other documentation. Participate in design and project review meetings to provide updates and recommendations. Support all the trial runs in our Supplier factories. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering or related disciplines. 5‑8 years or above of experience in new product development in the area of Small Domestic Appliances. Candidates with less experience may be considered as Mechanical engineer. Proven experience in mechanical design, product development, and testing. Proficiency in using design software and other engineering tools, including Pro‑E and Solidworks. Excellent communications and teamwork skills. Solid project management experience is a plus. Attention to details and ability to document and organize project information. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials. Experience in waterproof design is a plus. Experience in fan blade design & developing products with filtration. Familiar with industry standards and regulations. Knowledge of 3D printing technology is a definite plus. Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Willing to travel to China. 5 days work per week, nice working environment in a dynamic field.
