Plan and carry out mechanical design (based on ID designs), verification, and validation during the development of new products, and support technical questions to the engineering department on existing products and sales opportunities. Responsibilities Feasibility study of ID and mechanical design. Carry out mechanical design or coordinate with the supplier. Generation and maintenance of 3D and 2D files. Plan and carry out mechanical verification and validation. Creation and maintenance of design documentation (Mechanical BOM, drawings, instructions, etc.). Releasing of design material for production. Support production (both onsite and offsite) on product‑technical. Work as a project manager in development teams if appointed for a project. Support with technical input and feasibility study for PRS and new project opportunities, together with senior staff. Closely work and share information with teammates and other teams. Support younger staff in training on the technology and tools used. Follow the 2‑hour rule. Report to the engineering manager. Be supportive to help with additional R&D tasks not mentioned above. Requirements Degree holder with a major in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering. Minimum 5 years of solid experience in designing mechanics in the telecommunication industry. Experience in using Pro-E and Auto‑CAD. Strong knowledge and experience in mechanical design of handheld devices. Leadership skills to drive projects to happen on time. Proactive, result‑oriented, outgoing, and positive. Technical problem‑solving skills. Good communication skills, including fluent spoken English and Putonghua. Experience in Microsoft Office (Especially Word and Excel). Your application will include the following questions: How many years of industrial design experience do you have?
