This high-impact position empowers you to lead critical deposit operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive team excellence at an industry frontrunner. If you are passionate about operational efficiency, team leadership, and delivering superior banking services, this is the ideal move for you Responsibilities Supervise and lead the Deposit Team to ensure all deposit services are delivered efficiently, accurately, and professionally. Monitor and process structured deposits in full compliance with Deposit Protection Rules and regulatory requirements. Maintain comprehensive registers of customer negative notice acknowledgements and customer lists to prevent any omissions. Support the Account Management Services (AMS) Team with account opening, closing, and information change authorizations. Control and update operational records while monitoring dormant account operations in accordance with internal policies and banking regulations. Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to subordinates and clerical staff to enhance team productivity. Support departmental administration tasks including system project development, drill testing, UAT testing, and implementation. Ensure all deposit transactions including early termination, funding control, and confirmation handling comply with industry practice and regulatory standards. Requirements Matriculation certificate required; tertiary education diploma or degree preferred. Minimum 8 years of hands‑on deposit operations experience in the banking sector. At least 2 years of proven supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong knowledge of deposit account compliance including anti‑money laundering (AML) and counter‑terrorism financing (CTF) requirements. Excellent understanding of Hong Kong banking regulations and industry best practices. Fluent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accuracy in high‑volume transaction environments. Proven ability to coach team members and drive continuous improvement.
