Based at the Mandarin Oriental Corporate Office in Hong Kong , within the Data Analytics & AI Department , the Product & Portfolio Manager – Data & AI is responsible for shaping, managing, and delivering our portfolio of data and AI products that enhance guest experience, optimize operations, and drive commercial performance across the Group. The role reports to the VP of Data Analytics & AI . Portfolio Management Own and maintain the Data & AI product portfolio roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Group’s strategic priorities. Prioritize initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and resource availability. Monitor portfolio performance, track KPIs, and report progress to senior stakeholders. Manage dependencies and risks across the portfolio. Product Management Define product vision, strategy, and success metrics for each Data & AI product (e.g., predictive demand forecasting, personalized guest recommendations, operational optimization tools). Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear product specifications. Work closely with internal and external engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Drive product adoption and change management across hotel operations, marketing, revenue management, and guest services. Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary liaison between the Data & AI team and hotels & corporate units. Communicate product and portfolio updates to executives and operational teams. Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to identify new opportunities. Governance & Standards Ensure products comply with data governance, privacy, and security standards. Champion best practices in product management and agile delivery. What We Expect From You Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field; Master’s preferred. 5+ years of experience in digital product management, ideally within hospitality, travel, or technology sectors. Proven track record of delivering data-driven products from concept to adoption. Strong understanding of AI, analytics, and data platforms. Experience working in agile environments and managing cross-functional virtual teams. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
