Business Analyst – Retail Banking & Wealth We are currently seeking high caliber professionals to join our department as Business Analyst under Retail Banking & Wealth – Transformation & Business Architect Team. Position Overview Provide internal consultancy services on project/system implementation, workflow design, and process re-engineering in various Retail Banking & Wealth business areas. Responsible for investigating operational issues, problems and new opportunities and providing initial high-level options for solution design. Build end-to-end business models and process maps of products and services. Support the business owner to prioritise product backlog and assist the project team in defining criteria for acceptable final solutions to ensure new business and services meet business and user needs. Keep abreast of latest technology and best practices and deliver changes to current processes with efficiency and cost improvement. Foster a high engagement team to deliver outputs that exceed user expectations. Responsibilities Investigate operational issues, problems, and new opportunities. Provide initial high-level options for solution design, including feasibility assessment. Build end-to-end business models and process maps. Support business owners on product backlog prioritisation. Assist project teams in defining clear acceptance criteria. Stay updated on industry technologies and best practices. Foster a high engagement team for quality outputs. Qualifications University graduate in related disciplines or relevant qualifications. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management/business analysis. Knowledge in retail banking, especially unsecured loan, is preferred. Familiarity with business analytical tools like data models, process flow construction, customer journey mapping. Agile knowledge an advantage. Proactive, innovative, strong communication and analytical skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese. Growth mindset and ability to identify and bring about change opportunities. Ownership and servicing mindset for efficient front-to-back processes and excellent customer experience. Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under HKIB an advantage. About Hang Seng Bank Hang Seng is committed to service excellence.
