Vigers Building Consultancy Limited offers a diversified range of professional services including Heritage Conservation Consultancy and Project Management of real estate developments, Building Refurbishment and Revitalization, Condition Survey and Technical Due Diligence of all types of buildings, Expert Witness, Authorized Person Services on Statutory Compliance etc. (1) Heritage Surveyor / (2) Heritage Officer Due to the rapid expansion of our consultancy services in Hong Kong, we are now seeking suitable applicants to fill the following vacancies in Vigers Building Consultancy Limited: (1) Heritage Surveyor Key Responsibilities: Undertake condition surveys and/or researches of different types of historic buildings in Hong Kong. Prepare and vet inspection reports / heritage impact assessment reports. Draw up specifications and tender documents for maintenance and revitalization of historic sites. Manage project progress to meet client’s requirements. Attend regular meetings with the client to discuss project issues. Prepare statutory submissions to various Government Departments. Project management, including tendering and site supervision. Requirements: Be a Registered Professional Surveyor (Building Surveying Division under the Surveyors Registration Ordinance (Cap. 417)); or a Registered Architect under the Architects Registration Ordinance (Cap. 408); and Possess at least two (2) years solid work experience in the conservation of declared monuments and/or graded buildings in Hong Kong in the past ten (10) years. Familiar with building ordinance and conservation charters/principles/relevant legislations. Be mature with good communication and negotiation skills. Candidate with more relevant work experience may be considered as Senior Heritage Surveyor. (2) Heritage Officer Job Scope: Undertake condition surveys and/or research of different types of historic buildings in Hong Kong. Prepare inspection reports with illustrative photographs and floor plans. Maintain project progress to meet client’s requirements. Qualification and Experience: Degree or Diploma in building conservation from a university. Possess at least two (2) years solid work experience in the conservation of declared monuments and/or graded buildings in Hong Kong in the past ten (10) years. Familiar with building ordinance and conservation charters/principles/relevant legislations. Be mature with good communication skills.
