Job Description The position of Corporate Security Agent - Patrols & Administration involves providing proactive security patrols and handling access policies and processes for a world leading global financial services institution, ensuring seamless operations in a high-security environment. In addition to onsite physical security operations the Corporate Security Agent – Patrols & Administration will be responsible for inputting, verifying, and maintaining all access information from various stakeholders, contractors and visitors. This will include working directly with employees and contractors to assess and provide access to secure/restricted areas. The candidate must have a strong focus on detail with adherence to policy and the ability to communicate across international time zones. Position Duties Conduct proactive patrols of assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Monitor and control access. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken. Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve security risks. Provide first aid where necessary. Prepare detailed reports on activities and incidents. Maintain safety and security equipment. Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access in order to process pre-authorizations and maintain associated files, reports and statements. Possess a working knowledge of access control procedures, and maintain a high level of functional ability and integrity to handle assignments in the areas of pre-authorization and compliance. Possess good interpersonal skills in order to provide assistance to employees and contractors in obtaining access authorization, and/or proper credentials for access to secure/restricted areas. Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive security information. Perform related work as required. Regular, dependable and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications QAS Certification. Ability to pass background and fitness tests. Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. Excellent personal presentation. Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergencies. 3 years proven experience in similar position. Thorough/proven understanding of corporate security access control protocols. Hong Kong Permanent Resident or eligibility through spousal visa. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience working with Computers (MS Windows, Excel and Word). Experience working with multiple ‘live’ documents and strong attention to detail. Fluent in spoken and written English (required). Proficient in traditional/simplified Chinese and/or other Asian languages (preferred, however not essential). Additional Information Working shifts may vary between 06:00-23:00hrs with occasional Public Holidays. Flexibility required to meet operational needs. Pleasant/professional working environment.
