A leading international law firm is seeking a legal professional with 3-5 years PQE/proven experience in risk and regulatory compliance, ideally across Asia-Pacific. The role supports the Regional Head of Risk & Compliance and helps deliver consistent, high-quality compliance solutions across the region. Key Responsibilities: Provide proactive guidance on risk and compliance matters to partners and staff, reflecting the firms values. Collaborate with UK-based team members to ensure strategic alignment and consistent advice. Ensure compliance with law society rules, firm policies, and guidelines. Advise on client, supplier, and secondment terms. Manage AML, sanctions, conflicts, and financial crime escalations efficiently. Conduct research and contribute to regional or firm-wide risk projects. Build strong relationships with partners and present in meetings as needed. Identify and address knowledge gaps in risk and compliance. Support rollout of new initiatives and tech solutions aligned with regulatory changes. Work closely with business services to embed risk management into operations. Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments and implement timely changes. Key Qualifications: Legal professional with 3-5 years PQE/proven experience in an international law firm Familiarity with professional bar rules Experience with Intapp and centralized compliance teams Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Fluent in English; Mandarin or Japanese is a plus Experience with multi-jurisdictional projects preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
