Search Search Market Development Specialist Position : Allied Professional Department : Client Growth Office : K&L Gates is a fully integrated global law firm with lawyers located across five continents in more than 40 offices. Our Hong Kong office, K&L Gates, is now seeking a Market Development Specialist. This role will provide support to a wide range of marketing and business development activities for our Asia offices. Essential Duties : Assist multiple practice groups and lawyers in developing and executing marketing, market and client development initiatives. Create and deliver client-focused proposals, qualifications and presentation materials in response to RFPs and new business opportunities. Draft, edit and proofread marketing collateral and lawyer biographies. Prepare and deliver detailed competitive intelligence and marketing research reports leveraging Firmwide research tools and library resources. Act as liaison to lawyers and secretaries to build, maintain and update practice group contact lists in the firm's Client Relationship Management (CRM) database. Assist in tracking business development activities through the firm's systems. Provide support for the maintenance on the firm’s website and other platforms, including social media channels, as needed. Coordinate practice group membership in various trade and professional organizations. Undertake other projects as assigned. Your Profile : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, with proven ability to develop compelling proposals, marketing collateral, research reports and presentation materials in both Chinese and English. Strong interpersonal skills committed to building relationships within the team, with stakeholders and across other offices and firm functions. Demonstrates maturity and confidence necessary to interact with sophisticated internal and external clients. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet research tools; familiarity with lnterAction CRM, website design software and AI tools will be a plus. Exhibits sound judgment, decision-making and consistent follow-through. Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Outstanding attention to detail, flexibility and creativity. Collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimum supervision.
