The Base Hong Kong The Team The APAC Marketing team is responsible for implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies across the APAC region. We create targeted campaigns and integrated marketing programs that enhance Schroders’ market presence and communicate our value proposition to diverse client segments, including intermediaries (advisory firms, retail banks, private banks, financial institutions), institutional investors (pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, consultants), private markets, insurance companies and wealth management clients. Working within Schroders’ global marketing framework, we collaborate closely with the Marketing Centres of Expertise, regional and country teams, sales, product development and corporate communications to ensure a consistent yet locally relevant marketing approach that strengthens Schroders’ position as a leading global asset manager while supporting the firm’s business growth objectives. What You’ll Do The role primarily supports the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns and digital outreach initiatives. It helps produce and adapt marketing collateral for multiple audience types and maintain regular publications. The role coordinates with vendors to ensure the effective delivery of virtual and in-person events. Additionally, it assists with preparing stakeholder reports, contributes to performance tracking and monitors market trends to inform business and marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities Channel Marketing Campaign Execution: support the creation of campaign briefs and project documentation; assist in the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, which may involve a range of activities, e.g. events, sponsorships, advertising, client engagement and direct marketing as appropriate; support the implementation of digital journeys to nurture leads through the conversion funnel. Marketing Collateral Production and Dissemination: assist in the origination, adaptation and production of marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives; observe content governance processes to maintain quality and regulatory compliance across relevant jurisdictions; aid in the updating and maintenance of regular marketing publications, ensuring they remain current, relevant and are disseminated in a timely and accurate manner; support the team in managing digital marketing outreach, including email, social media and content marketing. Event Support: assist in coordinating event logistics and event collateral production, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective execution; support communication and coordination with vendors and suppliers across multiple countries, ensuring tracking of requirements and consideration of cultural nuances; support the execution of virtual and hybrid events, ensuring technical excellence and engaging experiences for remote participants across different markets. Communication & Reporting: assist in the preparation of marketing reports for internal stakeholders; contribute to the production of regular performance reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement; monitor competitive activities and market dynamics to identify threats and opportunities. Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field. Ideally 2 years of experience in multi-channel marketing, preferably within the financial services or related industry. Candidates with prior experience working in marketing agencies are welcome. Good understanding of digital marketing strategies, analytics, email marketing and social media platforms advantageous. Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems advantageous. Fluent English skills in both spoken and written form; additional Asian languages advantageous. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced marketing environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and communicate ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders. Curiosity of new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity – e.g. AI tools for marketing. Additional Skills That Will Help Familiarity with the regulatory environment within the financial services industry across Asian markets. Knowledge of customer segmentation and experience in targeting strategies that enhance customer engagement. Project management skills and experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives. Experience working in cross-cultural teams or on international marketing campaigns.
