The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience tackling various IT issues. They should be comfortable providing technology solutions to employees and working closely with vendors to adopt new technologies and efficiently use existing ones. This candidate should have prior experience working with information technology and understand the latest technology trends to ensure the technology in place is up to date. Responsibilities Lead and manage overseas teams including Business Analysts (BA), infrastructure engineers and application developers to ensure alignment with business objectives and project timelines Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure in USA and UK regions to ensuring stability, scalability and security Provide hands‑on support and technical leadership across infrastructure, applications and development environments Develop and maintain company ERP system, websites and business applications Demonstrate a solid understanding database structures, DIM model support applications, and report development Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and consolidate user requirements for system and process improvements Partner with an external supplier to maintain, support, upgrade Microsoft Dynamic Great Plains Manage ad‑hoc projects with agility, ensuring timely responses and coordination across multiple time zones Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, audit protocols and best practices to ensure compliance and operational efficiency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 1 year in a managerial or leadership role Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and application development Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing remote or overseas teams Hands‑on experience with MSSQL, database modelling and Object‑Oriented (OO) programming. Knowledge of SSRS, entity framework and web front‑end JS framework is an advantage Strong proficiency in .net C# Experience on VMware (ESXi 7 or above) technologies Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel internationally, including to the USA and UK when needed Proficiency in written and verbal English and Chinese (Cantonese) Familiarity with the publishing industry is a plus Candidates possessing less experience / skills may be considered for the Assistant IT Manager role Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Information Technology, Project Management, and Strategy/Planning Industries Manufacturing Please send your resume stating your availability and current & expected salary.
