Post‑doctoral Fellow (Department of Chinese Language Studies) Project Title : Advancing a global academic hub for Chinese language teaching and learning: Development of International Journal of Chinese Language Education (IJCLE) in Appointment Period : 24 months The appointee will be working as a full‑time Post‑doctoral Fellow to support the academic project "Advancing a global academic hub for Chinese language teaching and learning: Development of International Journal of Chinese Language Education (IJCLE) in ". The appointment will be for 24 months and will be renewable subject to a performance review. Responsibilities Management of IJCLE’s editorial duties. Research‑related duties such as literature review, special issue planning, report/article writing, book editing, etc. Effective liaison between the journal’s editorial board and external partners and collaborators. Coordination of international conference organising. Any other duties assigned by the project PI and the Editors‑in‑Chief of IJCLE. Qualifications PhD degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Chinese language education, second/foreign language acquisition, teaching Chinese as a second/foreign language, applied linguistics, or other related fields). A strong research background with a proven track record of publications and experience in designing and conducting empirical studies related to the fields listed above. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Self‑motivated, well‑organized, good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a good team member and under pressure. Benefits & Other Information Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
