Manager (Compliance) – Business & Compliance Add expected salary to your profile for insights Reporting to Senior Manager (Compliance), the appointee will monitor the operation compliance of the eMPF Company and contractor for the eMPF Platform. Key Accountabilities To provide support in developing, formulating and implementing policies and procedures for the monitor of the contractor on the operation of the eMPF Platform and related compliance matters; To work with the contractor on the compliance plan and regular compliance review results; To review the significant events and incidents reported by the contractor and prepare regulatory reporting to MPFA and its subsequent follow ups; To review the service level reports with regulatory impacts provided by the contractor and monitor its compliance of the pre-defined service level requirements; To support the discussion and coordination between independent auditor and the MPF trustees for matters relating to the regular assurance report on internal control of the eMPF Platform operation; To perform the duties required by the Personal Data Privacy Ordinance; To support the implementation of different policies and initiatives formulated by MPFA or other regulatory / government bodies to ensure all requirements and obligations are fulfilled by the eMPF Company; To support in the preparation of management reports, data analysis and meeting materials; To identify operation and service issues and ensure proper handling by the major third party supplier by reviewing complaint cases; To coordinate among the eMPF Company and with the contractor on regulatory or internal audit; and To perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualification A recognised degree, or equivalent; At least 8 years of relevant experience in operational / regulatory compliance, retirement schemes / pensions, auditing or risk management, preferably gained from sizeable financial sector or trustees; Preferably with knowledge of the MPF System and experience in trustees operation / retirement schemes administration; Skillful in managing progress and performance of vendor, and providing steer to significant issues; Commitment to serve in the public sector; Effective negotiator and communicator, able to concisely articulate complex issues for engaging different stakeholder groups; and Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Remuneration Package Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience. The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
