Job Details Number of vacancies: 1 Location: Base Tsim Sha Tsui (no work in Guangdong Province) Contract period: 02 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 (11 months) Application deadline: 10 Dec 2025 Payroll: InfoTech Project Nature Provide project management, contract administration, and system administration services for projects related to the implementation of Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP), data archival system, AI collaboration platform, and office IT upgrades. Duties Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech’s headcount, full‑time second to serve the HKO. Be the project manager or key contributor for the mentioned projects. Be responsible for the procurement of hardware, software, and implementation services. Serve as the key administrator and coordinator of the projects, liaising with different system management teams in the department and external parties including DPO and EMSD. Monitor the performance of consultants and contractors. Review the deliverables of consultants and contractors. Report to the project steering committee of the projects. Participate in departmental IT security meetings. Experience Overall post‑qualification experience: 20 years (minimum 4 years relevant experience in a similar post). Relevant project experience: 4 years. Requirements Extensive project‑management experience, preferably on projects similar to those described. Good interpersonal and communication skills with command of English. Criminal record check required; offer subject to results. Technical Skills At least 15 years’ experience in TCP/IP. At least 10 years’ experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration. At least 10 years’ experience in Data/File Backup Technology. At least 8 years’ experience in Network & System Management. At least 8 years’ experience in Server Virtualisation Technology. 15 years’ experience in IT Operational Management (advantage). 10 years’ experience in Internet/Intranet (advantage). 6 years’ experience in IT Planning (advantage). 6 years’ experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (advantage). 6 years’ experience in Virtual Private Network (advantage). Non‑Technical Skills At least 15 years’ experience in managing Government projects. At least 10 years’ experience in project management. At least 10 years’ experience in the management and support of Government systems and services. At least 8 years’ experience in site preparation. At least 8 years’ experience in IT service/outsourcing management. 16 years’ experience working with the Government (advantage). 7 years’ experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (advantage). 7 years’ experience in IT procurement (advantage). 5 years’ experience in customer service (advantage). 5 years’ experience in contract administration (advantage). Education Bachelor’s degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent. At least 20 years’ post‑qualification experience, with at least 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar post and comparable capacity.
