Resident Assistant Building Services Inspector

Resident Building Services Inspector (RBSI) Responsibilities Assist in all aspects of supervision of building services work on site within the contracts and the maintenance of site records. Assist in the monitoring of labour resources, progress, materials and equipment used on site. Assist in the checking of site measurements of building services works and payments claimed by contractors. Assist in the site survey of existing building services installations during the construction stage, including submission of proposals for additional, alteration or repair works. Assist in the inspection, testing and commissioning of building services installations. Assist in the checking of building services operation and maintenance manuals and as‑fitted drawings submitted by various contractors. Carry out all such other duties as directed by the Building Services Engineer and Building Services Inspector. Assists RBSI in performing the required environmental and safety duties. Report in person to cluster/hospital/head Office Administration Department facility management in‑charge at a weekly interval to brief him/her on what RSS had inspected or done. Qualifications Certificate in Building Services Engineering or equivalent. 3 years' relevant experience in Hong Kong. Safety Training Requirement He/She shall complete 49‑hour Safety Supervisor Training or equivalent organised by Occupational Safety & Health Council (OSHC) / Construction Industry Council (CIC) / other recognised organisations within 12 months from the start of the Agreement if he/she has never attended the equivalent training programme. He/she shall submit evidence of attending the above training upon request by the Employer's Representative. Additional Notes Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
