Head of Waste Management

Responsibilities Lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s waste management operations, including waste collection, transportation, recycling, and disposal. Formulate and execute waste management strategies aligned with environmental regulations and corporate sustainability goals. Manage waste management team budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to achieve operational efficiency and cost control. Monitor and supervise fleet management system and daily operations. Ensure all activities comply with environmental protection and health & safety standards. Introduce innovative waste reduction, recycling, and sustainability programs to improve environmental performance. Tackle key projects, analyse tender strategies and lead contract negotiation that maximize profitability and identify risks. Explore opportunities within the industry to drive continuous business development for potential clients. Strengthen relationships with existing clients while building new prospects. Build and maintain prolonged partnership relations, offer integrated solutions and solve clients’ problems and complaints. Prepare quotations and contracts, project presentations, reports and etc. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in environmental science, waste management, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. At least 8 years of experience in waste management or fleet management, logistics, or environmental services, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills with the ability to drive operational improvements. In-depth knowledge of waste management regulations, environmental policies, and industry best practices. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
