Job Description The Department of Psychiatry is recruiting Research Assistant(s) / Junior Research Assistant(s) to assist in mental health assessments and interventions for older adults in Hong Kong. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related healthcare disciplines. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese). Good computer knowledge in MS Office applications, Chinese word-processing, and statistical software such as SPSS. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Enthusiasm for elderly mental health research. Relevant experience in psychological or psychiatric research is preferred. Responsibilities Assisting in participant recruitment and communication. Arranging and conducting clinical assessments of cognition and psychiatric symptoms. Assisting in non-pharmacological interventions for older adults. Performing data entry and analysis. Preparing reports and assisting with daily administration. Working outside normal office hours and during weekends may be required occasionally. On-the-job training will be provided as necessary. Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
