Security and Privacy Compliance Senior Specialist (SEA) - Hong Kong SAR

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for enterprise customer inquiries related to security compliance and privacy, providing accurate and timely responses.
  • Assist in handling audit requests from enterprise customers, coordinating with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain FAQ resources and other customer-facing documents related to security compliance and privacy.
  • Lead the independent assessment with reference to the industry standards and supervisory guidelines for SEA, e.g., financial industry, public sector, etc.
  • Collaborate with business teams to advise on compliance solutions and best practices for highly regulated industry enterprise customers to address their security and privacy compliance requirements.
  • Drive the risk and gap remediation from a security and privacy compliance perspective with reference to the industry requirements of the highly regulated industry of SEA.
  • Collect and analyze emerging trends and changes in privacy regulations and security standards in SEA, lead the impact analysis, and form compliance advice and solutions.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in information security or computer-related fields from well-known universities is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology risk or compliance advisory roles. Experience in the financial industry's regulatory compliance is a plus.
  • Good communication skills; proficiency in English and Mandarin is a must (both spoken and written), with Bahasa as a plus.
  • Familiarity with international risk management and security standards, frameworks, and methodologies (ISO27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, etc.).
  • Fundamental knowledge of cloud technologies; Alibaba Cloud ACA/ACP/ACE certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated initiative and capability to monitor new standards from regulatory and standards organizations and integrate these into practice.
  • Practical experience in implementing standards and regulatory requirements and remediating compliance gaps.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, and display creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
