Medical Affairs Associate (One year contract) Join to apply for the Medical Affairs Associate (One year contract) role at AstraZeneca This is a 1-year, entry-level position within Medical Affairs, providing scientific and medical support to the Medical Affairs Team. The successful candidate will participate in structured rotations across multiple therapeutic areas, gaining comprehensive exposure to scientific and clinical knowledge while contributing to a diverse range of Medical Affairs initiatives. In this role, you will support the Medical Affairs team by engaging with healthcare professionals, contributing to cross-functional projects, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. Key Responsibilities Field Engagement: Spend around 70% of your time in the field, meeting healthcare professionals such as specialists and other providers; build scientific relationships with key stakeholders through face-to-face interactions; collect and share insights from external experts to support business and medical strategies. Cross-Functional Support: Share emerging medical and scientific data with local stakeholders; help strengthen relationships with external experts through scientific discussions; review medical materials to ensure accuracy and compliance; assist in planning and carrying out medical activities and projects; respond to medical information requests in a timely and accurate manner. Compliance: Follow company Codes of Conduct, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all relevant local regulations.
