Lead Teacher and/ Classroom Teacher Behaviour Therapist Aoi Pui School is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher and/ classroom Teacher for our special needs primary program. The ideal candidate will deliver effective sessions for individuals or small groups, both within and outside the classroom, while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs, prepare engaging lessons, and implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to enhance learning outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Deliver effective teaching sessions for individuals or small groups. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student. Prepare lessons and create specific teaching materials. Implement ABA techniques to support student learning and behavior. Collaborate with classroom teachers to define appropriate activities aligned with the curriculum. Liaise with parents, external agencies, and professionals (e.g., occupational therapists, speech therapists, etc.) to support student development. Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their families. Maintain accurate records of student progress and carry out necessary administrative tasks. Qualifications: BCBA/BCaBA equivalent required for lead teacher position. Experience working with children with special needs required . Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) experience. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with parents and external professionals. Ability to build positive relationships with students and their families. Initiative and problem-solving skills to adapt teaching strategies as needed. Patience, understanding, and empathy towards students and parents. Flexibility to respond to the dynamic needs of students and adjust plans accordingly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
