Overview A prominent corporate bank is seeking a skilled Import Support Officer / Senior Officer for a contract position lasting one year. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in import operations to contribute to a dynamic banking environment. Responsibilities Assist the Import team with the issuance of Letters of Credit (LC), including Back-to-Back and Standby LCs. Process Bank Guarantees and ensure timely and accurate documentation. Manage the lodgment and retirement of LC/Collection bills. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies for all import transactions. Address client inquiries and resolve operational issues related to import processes. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions to support audit and compliance needs. Collaborate with internal teams and counterparties to facilitate efficient import operations. Requirements Diploma or related discipline; a degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade operations within the banking industry. CDCS qualification is a plus and advantageous. Proficient in Excel, word processing, and online banking systems. Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese. Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
