Equities Derivatives Application Support Lead, APAC – Investment Bank Our client is a Global Investment bank, looking to hire a seasoned team lead to manage the APAC Equity Derivatives Application Support team. Job Responsibilities Lead Support Equities Derivatives Technology during Asian hours Act as the regional lead to face off senior business and technology management and manage key incidents Liaise with business and IT counterparts on potential process improvements to improve the quality of systems and service, and increase business value Liaise with development teams on future applications and improvements Develop specialist knowledge in relevant systems, sharing that knowledge, as required, with global team Undertake projects as required, including, but not restricted to, the following areas : – capacity and performance management, monitoring initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, web based tools, reporting and documentation Uphold and champion policies, procedures and standards Job Requirements Bachelor degree Strong experience in Derivatives technology, front-office application support role on trading floor within investment banking Sound management skills, experiences of managing onshore offshore IT team on large batch environment with tight downstream SLA requirements Strong technical and business troubleshooting Experience of risk management, PNL and pricing applications within a derivatives environment Knowledge of Equity derivatives product and market making on major exchanges Experience of both Windows and UNIX platforms Excellent communicator, good with users, able to work well in a cross-disciplined team and alone with minimum supervision Strong problem solver, team player, pro-active, thorough, organized and energetic #J-18808-Ljbffr
