COO – Manufacturing & Garment (Based in Mainland) My client is looking for a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) with 15–17 years of industry experience, including 8 - 10 years in senior management roles, ideally within manufacturing, textiles, and regional/offshore operations, ideally in Lingerie or Women Garments industry. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, and possess a proven track record in driving operational excellence, leading cross-functional teams, and contributing to financial and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute company-wide strategies. Lead long-term planning and operational alignment across departments. Oversee daily operations including production, procurement, logistics, etc. Implement best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Work closely with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning. Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities related to operational activities. Lead and mentor senior managers across multiple regions and offshore facilities. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Serve as a key liaison with regional partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Ensure alignment across business units and maintain strong relationships with external partners. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Champion quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement programs. Qualifications 15–17 years of relevant experience, with at least 8–10 years in senior leadership roles, ideally within the factory. Strong background in manufacturing and textile industries, including regional and offshore operations, ideally in Lingerie or Women Garments industry. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field. Proven success in strategic planning, operational execution, and financial investment. Comfortable traveling. Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skill.
