Job Description The Opportunity: Director of Vendor Partnerships & Manufacturing Operations Company: Multinational Toys Company - Hong Kong is the APAC regional sourcing office Work Location: Hong Kong, Dongguan, APAC Reports to: APAC COO Company Overview Multinational toys company with sourcing offices in Hong Kong, Dongguan, and across APAC Regional offices manage vendor relationships, production schedules, and supply chain operations Commitment to delivering safe, innovative, and high‑quality toy products to global markets Role Summary Lead strategic vendor partnerships and oversee manufacturing operations across China and APAC Design and implement production strategies, manage capacity and inventory, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensure vendors deliver exceptional quality, on‑time performance, and cost efficiency aligned with global supply chain goals Position Overview End‑to‑end responsibility for vendor management and manufacturing operations across the APAC region Strengthen vendor partnerships, optimize manufacturing footprint, and enforce compliance with company standards Inspire and lead a high‑performing team to achieve operational excellence and exceed production targets Ideal Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree holder 10+ years of progressive experience in production control, supply chain, and vendor management in toys or consumer products Proven success in building and leading high‑performing teams Strong knowledge of global manufacturing processes and international supply chain dynamics Experience negotiating and managing third‑party inspection/auditing firms Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Willingness to travel frequently across China and APAC Key Responsibilities Lead vendor partnerships and manufacturing operations across China and APAC Develop and execute production strategies to ensure on‑time shipments and optimal capacity utilization Establish and lead a team to monitor vendor reporting, audit data, and performance grading Implement systems for forecasting, planning, and monitoring production capacity across all sites Proactively address potential delays and act as on‑site problem solver to safeguard customer timelinesDrive initiatives to exceed shipment targets and maintain accurate production records Collaborate with product development, engineering, quality assurance, and legal teams to embed operational excellence Negotiate agreements with third‑party inspection/auditing firms and secure dedicated personnel across APAC Build and enforce a vendor management framework with clear performance metrics and corrective action plans Oversee vendor contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions Conduct regular factory monitoring with team members, documenting production status and risks Terms & Benefits Five‑day work week 13‑month salary plus performance bonus Medical insurance coverage Frequent business travel across China and APAC Career growth opportunities within a global organization To apply Please attach your CV and salary expectations to Seniority level Director Employment type Full‑time Job function Management, Manufacturing, and Purchasing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at JPC Corporation by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
