Assistant Relationship Manager – Role Overview The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports Relationship Managers in servicing and developing client relationships. The role delivers a high standard of client service, ensures effective execution of client requests, and maintains strong governance and risk discipline across the client lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Support Relationship Managers in managing client relationships and delivering a high standard of ongoing service. Prepare client meeting materials, reports, and documentation; assist with follow‑ups after client interactions. Act as a point of contact for clients on day‑to‑day servicing matters, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations, Compliance, Credit, Investment teams) to resolve client requests end‑to‑end. Escalate complex or sensitive matters appropriately to Relationship Managers or relevant control functions. Support client onboarding and account maintenance processes, including documentation collection and coordination of approvals. Assist with Know Your Customer (KYC), client due diligence, and periodic reviews in line with regulatory and internal requirements. Ensure client records, documentation, and system data are accurate, complete, and up to date. Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and code of conduct; support monitoring of client activities and identify potential operational, credit, or compliance risks. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and servicing activities. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager or in a similar role within private banking or wealth management. Relevant professional qualification (HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8) or License Person of Type 1 or equivalent. Sound understanding of Hong Kong regulatory requirements, private banking conduct standards, and client due diligence (KYC) processes. Strong client‑servicing mindset with the ability to support Relationship Managers, manage client interactions, and work effectively with internal stakeholders. High level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a regulated environment.
