We’re now expanding our Hong Kong team to hire a Product Engineer — a hybrid builder who bridges product thinking and engineering execution, empowered by AI tools like Cursor 2.0 and GPT-5 Codex. What You’ll Do Own end-to-end product modules — from concept to release — across our PIM (Product Information Management), B2B e-commerce platform, and Virtual Exhibition systems. Use AI agents (Copilot / Cursor / GPT-5 Codex) to prototype interfaces, generate component code, draft API definitions, and accelerate feature delivery. Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to turn product requirements into structured schemas, APIs, and data flows ready for implementation. Refine and expand our PIM data architecture , ensuring product information consistency across GemHub, our marketplace, and 3rd‑party channels. Conduct user research and data‑driven experimentation to improve conversion and workflow efficiency for jewelers. Partner with the AI team to integrate new machine learning features into our SaaS ecosystem (e.g., GemStudio image generation, GemID jewelry appraisal, and GemUV diamond detection). Contribute to product roadmaps and AI‑assisted development standards across Picup Media’s global teams (Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Sydney). Who You Are Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years in product management, technical PM, or full‑stack development — preferably within SaaS or e-commerce domains. Hands‑on experience with AI development tools (e.g. Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Kimi) and comfortable iterating via prompts and agentic workflows. Familiar with Next.js / React / Node.js or modern web stacks — able to read and modify code when needed. Strong system thinking skills — you connect user experience, business logic, and data structure holistically. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multicultural teams.
