The Role We are seeking a highly accomplished and tri-lingual Education Sales Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor to our discerning clientele. This is not a conventional sales role; it is a position for an educational expert who can consult with families on their most critical decisions. You will be responsible for understanding the unique aspirations of each student, diagnosing their academic needs, and architecting a tailored roadmap utilizing our premium admissions consulting and tutoring services. Key Responsibilities Consultative Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth, multi-faceted consultations with students and parents to assess academic history, strengths, weaknesses, extracurricular profile, and long-term educational goals. Expert Educational Pathway Planning: Provide authoritative advice on curriculum choices (IB, A-Levels, I/GCSE, AP, HKDSE), school selection, and university admissions strategy for both Hong Kong and international destinations (e.g., UK, US, Canada, Australia). Customized Solution Design: Develop and present bespoke service proposals that clearly articulate how our tutoring, test preparation, and admissions consulting services will meet the client's specific objectives. Full-Cycle Client Management: Manage the entire client journey from initial inquiry and relationship building through to closing and seamless onboarding, ensuring a premium experience throughout. Market Intelligence & Networking: Serve as a subject matter expert, staying ahead of trends in all relevant education systems. Represent the company at education fairs, seminars, and networking events. Core Competencies & Requirements (Mandatory) Educational Landscape Expertise: Hong Kong Local System: Proven, deep familiarity with the HKDSE curriculum, its structure, key subjects, and grading system. Understanding of top local schools and their entry requirements. International Curricula: Comprehensive knowledge of international pathways, including the IB Diploma Programme, A-Levels, and I/GCSE. Familiarity with the US AP curriculum is a strong advantage. Mainland Chinese System: Practical knowledge of the Gaokao system and the landscape of Mainland Chinese secondary education. An understanding of the motivations and expectations of Mainland Chinese families seeking educational opportunities in Hong Kong and abroad. Sales & Consultative Acumen: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in education sales, admissions consulting, or a high-end, advisory role within the education sector. Demonstrated ability to manage a long sales cycle and close high-value contracts with demanding clients. A consultative, client-centric approach—you are a problem-solver and a strategist, not just a seller. Language & Cultural Fluency (Non-Negotiable): Fluent in Cantonese: To build genuine trust and rapport with local Hong Kong families. Fluent in Mandarin: To communicate effectively and understand the nuanced needs of Mainland Chinese clients. Professional English: For communication with international school stakeholders, internal reporting, and crafting proposals. Ideal Candidate Profile Holds a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university; a degree from a top-tier Hong Kong or overseas institution is highly preferred. Has personal or professional experience navigating the competitive admissions processes for either Hong Kong or overseas universities.
