For more information about the University, please visit Part‑time Lecturers ENGL 1102EEF – Effective Use of English II Major Duties and Responsibilities Plan and conduct lectures for ENGL 1102EEF, a full‑time English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course designed for undergraduates. Assess student assignments and provide constructive, high‑quality feedback to support learning and academic development. Mark examination papers in accordance with established grading criteria. Assist in the design and implementation of teaching and learning activities. Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Undertake other duties related to the development and delivery of the course, as assigned. The appointees shall be required to teach up to 3 hours per week, scheduled during weekday daytime hours on campus in face‑to‑face mode, between January 2026 and May 2026. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies: A higher degree in English linguistics, applied linguistics, English language and/or literature, or a closely related discipline. Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the tertiary level. Terms and Conditions for Appointment Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part‑time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with statutory provisions.
