Major Duties and Responsibilities Conduct lectures and tutorials. Write lecture notes, design and mark assignments/examination scripts. Perform other related teaching and administrative duties. Qualifications and Competence Applications should be related to the following courses and meet the specified requirements: CHIN A365CF: 中國當代文學專題 – Applicant must hold a Master’s degree or above in Chinese language and literature, linguistics or a related subject. Teaching experience is preferred. ENGL 3040AEF: Special Topic(s) in Cultural Studies – Recognised Master’s degree / higher degree, including study of English language, literature and culture, plus teaching experience in relevant English literature courses. Preference will be given to candidates with tertiary teaching experience and a PhD in a related discipline. LANG 3143AEF: Sociolinguistic Issues in Hong Kong – Recognised higher degree in Linguistics, Sociolinguistics or Applied Linguistics. Relevant teaching and/or research experience is an advantage. PSYC A342F: Behavioural Economics – Higher degree, preferably a doctorate, in Economics or Psychology or related discipline. Teaching/professional experience is required; tertiary level experience is an advantage. SOCI 2002AEF: Essentials of Sociological Inquiry (Contemporary Theory) – Higher degree, preferably a doctorate, in Sociology or related discipline. Teaching/professional experience is required; tertiary level experience is an advantage. TRAN 3268ACF: 法律及政府文件翻譯 / TRAN A366CF 公共行政翻譯 / TRAN A368CF 法律翻譯 – Applicant must hold an approved Master’s degree or above in legal translation or a related subject, or have extensive industry experience. Teaching and/or work experience is preferred. ENGL A321F: Shakespeare – Recognised Master’s degree / higher degree, including study of English language and literature, plus experience teaching relevant English literature courses. Preference will be given to candidates with tertiary teaching experience and a PhD in a related discipline. Duration of Appointment The appointees will be required to work during daytime on campus for the period from January 2026 to June 2026 for a maximum of 17 hours per week.
