Job Title / Category: Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 56628-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 08 Dec 2025 Contract Period 03 Feb 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (11 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Hong Kong Island and Correctional Facilities of the CSD or other locations as required Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) The proposed staff shall be responsible for the daily maintenance of server farm and system virtualisation in relation to the project of Integrated Custodial and Rehabilitation Management System (iCRMS) and IT Infrastructure as well as its subsequent relocation if required. Duties (a) Monitor and supervise the overall IT infrastructure on server farm and system virtualisation for CSD; (b) Provide support for application services running 24 x 7 around the clock, and ensure prompt and accurate resolution in case of issues encountered; (c) Perform proactive maintenance such as overseeing system performance, managing application and infrastructure support service providers and vendors on performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning and expansion, implementation of patches and hot fixes; (d) Responsible to create systems and services, on a technical infrastructure which supports business demands, that are resilient, secure and highly available; (e) Assist in the necessary preparation and execution for the relocation of the server farm; (f) Responsible for tender preparation for new system projects and renewal of system maintenance services; (g) Responsible for implementation of technical part of project plans; (h) Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for the supported services; (i) Provide support services outside office hour as required; (j) Ensure the overall IT infrastructure follow the government IT infrastructure standards, interoperability framework and best practices; (k) Ensure the IT infrastructure is compliance with the IT security policy and standards; (l) Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements Implementation and maintenance experience for server farm and system virtualisation projects; hands‑on and professional competency on vCenter, VMware, Fortinet, Pulse Secure, MS Windows Server, Oracle and etc. Good communication skills. Good command of Chinese and English. Well‑developed problem‑solving skills and root cause analysis skills. Self‑motivated, independent, diligent, polite, proactive, fast learning and good team player. Working at remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required. Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required. Technical Skills At least 3 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF). At least 3 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM). At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT). At least 1 year's experience in IT Operational Management (OPM). 3 years' experience in TCP/IP (TCP) is an advantage. 3 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an advantage. 3 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT) is an advantage. 3 years' experience in Remote Access Server (RAS) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in Security Incident Detection and Handling (SDH) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication (MWC) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in Wireless Technology (WLT) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in EGIS (EGI) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in Video Conference Technology (VCT) is an advantage. 1 year's experience in Project Management Professional (PMP) (PMP) is an advantage. Non-Technical Skills Good coordination skills is a must. At least 3 years' experience in project management (PRM).
