About The Job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Service Division, the Junior Bartender - Terrace Boulud is responsible for ensuring guest’s satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous service, while maintaining smooth daily operations and the quality service standard of the bar. The Junior Bartender - Terrace Boulud reports to the Beverage Director - Terrace Boulud. Responsibilities Set up the daily bar counter and ensure all condiments needed for food service during the day Meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient manner Replenish the bar stock and maintain the cleanliness of bar area at all times Provide a quality service according to the guest’s needs. Prepare food and beverage product according to the standard in a timely manner Ensure that the storeroom is clean and all items are stored properly at all times Ensure that tables are consistently cleared and re‑set properly. Promote daily food and beverage sales and actively up‑sell whenever appropriate Maintain bar tools and equipment in good conditions Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time Qualifications With relevant working experience in similar capacity in hotel Food & Beverage, preferably with pre‑opening experience in a luxury hotel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good command in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese communication Passionate in customer service and hospitality industry Benefits Learning & Development.
