Junior Sommelier – Terrace Boulud Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is looking for a Junior Sommelier to join our Food & Beverage Service team. About the Job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within the Food & Beverage Service Division, the Junior Sommelier – Terrace Boulud is responsible for providing the beverage service in the restaurant and bar areas. The role supports daily operations, serves wines and spirits, and reports to the Beverage Director – Terrace Boulud. Responsibilities Deliver a delightful bar and dining experience to our guests Maintain smooth and efficient operations in the bar areas Understand guests’ needs and deliver excellent service and professional recommendation Ensure that the beverage lists are updated and maintain accurate sales records Monitor proper storage, aging rotation, and temperature of all stock in the beverage storeroom on a daily basis Serve all beverage orders in accordance with proper procedures Provide on-the-job training to bartenders and the service team on beverage service and knowledge Follow and apply HACCP standards at all times Qualifications Holder of a WSET certificate At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity in hotel Food & Beverage, preferably with pre‑opening experience in a luxury hotel Passionate about delivering an exceptional F&B service Pleasant, presentable, service‑oriented, a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Cantonese, English and Mandarin is an advantage Commitment to You Learning & Development program tailored to various career stages MOstay – complimentary nights and attractive rates for you and your loved ones worldwide Health & Wellness benefits and programmes globally Retirement plans based on length of service and role Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Temporary #J-18808-Ljbffr
