A teacher and learner – you like investigating and troubleshootingdata relatedissuesacross all dimensions of data quality A trusted subject matter specialist – you own contributing to the constant evolution of our data management maturityand data management capabilitiesinmetadata management, data quality management and data governance An excellent teammate – you appreciate the daily operations of a global,highly distributedteam that deliversmissioncritical data service What you’ll do Manage and engineer the company’s global Relational Database solutions Ensure and enhance the integrity of our mission-critical data offering Innovate and take responsibility for the database environment Troubleshoot and support the databases as part of a global team of DBAs Work closely with other teams to improve and enhance the estate Immerse yourself in critical database projects Make and implement recommendations to prevent reoccurringissues andautomate manual processes Interface and communicate with all levels of the business, up to and including the CTO You should have 5+ years’ experience as a Database Administrator in a production environment (Seniority level : Mid-Level) Strong knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB Exposure to other similar RDBMs’ (Sybase, Postgres, Oracle or DB2) and / or MongoDB Solid experience of database management activities, performance tuning, estate improvement planning and implementation Complex database replication topology support Installation, migration and upgrade experience Backup, Restore, HA and DR skills Database performance tuning Stored Procedures and SQL writing Engines : Innodb, Blackhole, Columnstore UNIX scripting skills.
