Senior Technical Specialist

Administer and support Linux systems with Satellite Patch Management, VMware virtualization, Web and middleware platforms (WebLogic, NodeJS, Apache, Spring Boot, Java), API gateway systems (MuleSoft, TYK, Azure API Gateway), JIRA, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Azure Landing Zone, and Azure Cloud Platform. Perform monthly patching, system upgrades, on-demand deployments, and support for system release changes and major rollouts. Manage Linux systems, backup solutions (Tivoli, NetBackup, Veeam), virtualization platforms, HCI platforms, and SAN infrastructure. Maintain accurate software inventory and ensure systems are consistently updated. Propose and implement continuous improvements to infrastructure solutions. Collect user requirements and develop logical and physical specifications. Liaise with vendors for project implementation and solution evaluation. Requirements Diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support. Strong technical knowledge in VMware, KVM, Linux, NetBackup, Veeam, Tivoli, HCI platforms, and storage systems. Experience with SAN storage and Tivoli infrastructure is an advantage. Proven ability to diagnose hardware and troubleshoot technical issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work independently and flexible to support during non-office hours when required. Immediate availability is a plus.
