(Assistant) Key Account Manager

Our client is seeking a (Assistant) Key Account Manager to drive business growth and strengthen partnerships with strategic retail customers. This role is critical in delivering sales targets, category growth, and joint business plans for our portfolio of leading FMCG brands. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Business Development Manage key retail accounts (e.g., supermarkets, convenience stores, e-commerce) to achieve sales, profit, and distribution objectives . Develop and implement joint business plans with customers, including promotional calendars and category strategies. Negotiate annual trading terms, promotional agreements, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance , analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management review. Ensure timely execution of promotions, displays, and in-store activations to drive visibility and sales. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of plans. Provide insights to support category development and shopper marketing initiatives . Data-Driven Decision Making Utilize Nielsen and other market data to track performance, evaluate ROI, and optimize promotional strategies. Conduct post-promotion analysis and recommend improvements for future campaigns. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline. 5+ years of key account management experience in FMCG, preferably with exposure to principal brand operations. Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills . Proven track record in managing large retail chains and delivering results. Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese.
