Provide advice to the Senior Management on all aspects of maintenance support, environmental controls and the operational efficiency of the property. Assist to ensure that the effective financial management of the Engineering Department by setting maintenance budgets, capital works programs and engineering plans and ensuring that performance against there are regularly monitored and reviewed. Responsible for the general cost control aspects of maintenance, the preparation of departmental cost budgets and their implementation and submission to the Management. Assist in planning, implements and administers an energy management program by establishing energy reduction objectives, the maintenance of records and regular reporting of performance against these objectives. Contribute to the property’s profitability by ensuring the effective management of the buildings environmental controls and energy conservation systems. Evaluates, controls and records energy usage and implements and upgrades energy conservation systems. Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations and fire codes by regularly reviewing policies and safety procedures. Ensures that any tests and inspections required on plant by statutory authorities are carried out as and when required and that all records and documentation associated with such tests and surveys are correctly kept and/or displayed. Ensures that the property fulfils all compliance requirements. Requirements Degree in related Engineering discipline or equivalent qualification background Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker Grade A or above 8 years with Hotel engineering working experience or equivalent related experience Good technical knowledge in electrical system, fire services system, plumbing & drainage system and MVAC system, etc. Well organized with excellent leadership skills Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
