Java Developer / Solutions Architect (Analyst to Director) – Wealth Management, Hong Kong Posted: 1 day ago. Be among the first 25 applicants. Senior Consultant at BAH Partners | Finance & Technology Our client, a leading and well-established financial institution in the securities and wealth management domain, is expanding their technology team and is looking for solutions architect / Java developer / technical leads at multiple seniority levels—from analyst, senior analyst, assistant vice president, associate director up to director. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team where you will contribute to the analysis, design, and delivery of key technology initiatives supporting securities trading, brokerage operations, and wealth management platforms. Key Responsibilities (Depending on Seniority Level) Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and end-to-end process flows. Conduct gap analysis on current vs. target state systems and propose viable technical and process solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards. Work closely with development teams to review solution designs, contribute technical input, validate API/integration workflows, and support prototype or POC creation where needed. Support project delivery through participation in planning, progress tracking, UAT execution, defect analysis, and troubleshooting, ensuring systems function as intended from both business and technical perspectives. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation—including user guides, technical specs, data mappings, and interface documentation—and provide training and implementation support to ensure smooth adoption. Requirements Experience in the securities, brokerage, banking, or wealth management sector. Hands‑on development experience in Java and familiarity with Java frameworks. Strong understanding of securities trading, brokerage operations, funds, bonds, structured products, and relevant financial regulations. Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Analytical, detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua .
