Major Duties To manage various laboratories / workshops and prepare training materials, fixtures and equipment for daily operations; To install, operate and perform maintenance of the apparatus and equipment in laboratories and workshops; To provide technical support and assist in demonstration for teaching and learning activities, including workshops / studios / laboratories / practical training sessions and student projects; To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores; To maintain the safety and tidiness of the workshops / studios / laboratories; and To provide assistance in campus activities. Requirements A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Product Design / Industrial Design / Spatial Design / Stage & Set Design / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent; At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas: STEAM Education 3D CAD modeling Traditional Machinery Operation (Woodwork) Prototyping (CNC / 3D Printing) Ability to acquire new skills to control different machines; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Good communication and problem‑solving skills, be a good team player, mature, independent and self‑motivated; Candidate with experience and/or knowledge in one of the following areas would be an advantage: micro:bit Notes Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
